Celebrated worldwide annually on 31st October, Halloween, a Christian festival, has its roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain. This festival is very often associated with colors like orange and black making patterns or Jack-O-Lanterns. The various other activities included are wearing scary costumes, trick or treating, bonfires, visiting haunted places and specially organizing amazing Halloween dinner ideas with spooky dishes resembling scary characters like Dracula, Frankenstein and Zombies.
While planning for a Halloween dinner party, following are some good ideas, used to serve the little ghouls and ghost:
- Add Severed Hand in Fruit Punch. Making a severed hand is easy. You need to fill a latex glove with water and freeze it. Jell-o can also be used and dyed to look fleshy. Both would then float in the punch.
- Coffin Sandwiches can be made by using peanut butter and jelly or peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. Simply cut your pieces of bread in the shape of a coffin. Then, coat them with melted chocolate. The noodles can be cut to smaller sizes at the proper bends, and then insert them in the sides of cakes to look like hands.
- Bowl of Dirt is simple to make, it includes dusted Oreo cookies and sour gummy worms or jelly worms dipped in semi-sweet chocolate.
- Brain Loaf can be made a by a meatloaf .brain. Make a meatloaf, instead of shoving it inside a loaf pan; keep it inside a brain Jell-o mold. Spray with olive oil and you can flip it out on to a baking sheet to bake. When the meat loaf is finished baking, fill a syringe with warm spaghetti sauce and inject the loaf with it.
- Cat Barf Salad, can be made by cutting an avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out the meat. Mash it slightly. Grate some carrots and divide the grated part among some salad bowls. Add alfalfa sprouts to the avocado mix and combine them. Scoop out small almond sized amounts and place on top of the carrots. Add some Italian dressing for the phlegm.
